Celebration Instead Of Fear

Fear stands for False Evidence Appearing Real = thinking: ‘I am what I do, I am what I own and I am what other people think of me‘.

Today, let us celebrate the Hero of Heart Centred Presence which he reflected within us all.

Madiba showed us that when logic is combined with heart centredness, miracles flow into the world. And Heart is what Africa has to offer the world.

Now ask yourself “What did Nelson Mandela represent in ‘my story’?” … and then own that part, that roll of ‘hero’ and ‘goodness’. What we project outwards onto the screen of others, be it ‘good’ or ‘bad’ is a reflection of our own unacknowledged, unowned self.

From Mourning To Awakening

Madiba’s passing can be seen as a time of mourning – mourning the loss of the old, or a time of celebrating the new – the awakening of unity, compassion and love into the world; of celebrating the hero within that Madiba represented for many.  I myself choose the latter.

Just as the hands on the clock do not create a New Year as they strike midnight on the 31 December, so Madiba’s passing doesn’t create a New World, but at the same time, a new Earth is being signalled in; a world where we begin to recognise our interconnectedness, our integrated destiny, our entangled existence, and realise our true essence which is love – the love of Oneness Presence which we all share, which is Life, which is the Divine.

A Time Of Resurrection

Let us light a candle today and send love and light to the soul which we know of as Nelson Mandela to help him on his journey, and also to send light into the world at this time, and ask that humanity see this as a time not of crucifixion, but resurrection; not to focus on death, but on the eternal light of love which Madiba radiated into our hearts and into the world.
