Hi Fellow Travellers,
I trust that you are beginning to integrate what was experienced in the weekend into your day to day lives. I invite you to take a moment to reflect and absorb the reminders below.
While reflection is valuable, the real transformation begins as we practice, moment by moment, the tools worked with during the retreat.
As these are applied in everyday life, lasting change unfolds naturally.
Here’s a short YouTube clip featuring the Map of the Matrix and The Steering Wheel , a gentle reminder of what was shared. (Feel free to pass it along to others if you feel they may be of help to them.).
We also encourage you to use the Ho’oponopono prayer to clear any lingering emotional attachments to people or situations. Here are a couple of alternative versions for you to work with.
And here is a great meditation to use this prayer on yourself.
To truly access the power contained within the present moment, make a commitment to remain open and heart-centred in all challenging circumstances.
By consistently applying the tools offered during the retreat will transform not only your life, but be a positive influence on those around you . These practices really do allow love and presence to flow more freely through us.
A gentle warning: The mind, with its tendency to cling to the past for identity and grasp at the future for purpose, will try to reassert itself as master of your life. This inevitably closes the heart. Perseverance and committed focus are essential.
And yes, it takes patience… until patience itself becomes irrelevant in the light of presence.
Breathe in. Breathe out. Feel the peace that lives in this very moment.
The key to mastering the mind is awareness. Letting go of inner resistance and allowing life to be as it is, this is the path. This means releasing habitual attachments to the past and softening our projections into the future. Use the mind to recall and plan when needed, but let go of the time-based mental noise that dominates most of our thinking on a daily basis.
It is our attachment to a personal ‘story’ that gives the mind identity and feeds the illusion of some future based fulfilment.
Awakening is the realization that we are already Home in this moment. We are the still, silent awareness, the sea of love, that witnesses all thoughts and experiences. As we awaken, we honour the sacred stillness within us as our primary focus.
The secret to a heart-based life, one of love, peace, and real security, is to remain open and present, no matter what arises. Find the space within. Pay alert attention to the still, formless, timeless dimension of consciousness that lives in your Being – it is the real, eternal, unchanging you.
As we release fear (false evidence appearing real) and awaken into presence, the lower self naturally falls away, just as petals drop when fruit begins to grow. No efforting or striving is needed.
For continuing support I have set up the BRC Mens WhatsApp Group.
Michelle and I would also like to invite you to deepen your Journey of Awakening by joining our ongoing
INNERSPACE COMMUNITY
As the world continues to experience this enormous shift in consciousness, we feel that it has never been more important to build sustainable community, which assists us in nurturing and strengthening our Inner Space.
We have created Innerspace as a safe sanctuary, where you can regularly take refuge and explore your inner world.
Each month stands alone and is themed to align with current astrological energies and planetary shifts.
The emphasis is on the teaching, coaching and guidance provided in the fortnightly Zoom calls and ongoing community support from our private Whatsapp Group. The additional material on your membership page is filled to bursting with additional support for each month’s theme. To join or for more info please see our website page
MUSIC
You can download the high-frequency background music I played during the retreat [here]. It’s perfect for meditation.
Additional music shared during the retreat is available [here].
And finally— Pause. Breathe. Be. Even for just a moment, and Be grateful for life just as it is now.
Don’t Go Back To Sleep
“The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you;
Don’t go back to sleep.
You must ask for what you really want;
Don’t go back to sleep.
People are going back and forth between
the door sill where the two worlds touch.
The door is round and open.
Don’t go back to sleep.” – Rumi
In light and presence and gratitude
